TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House Lindeman Island National Park has exceptional scientific, ecological, heritage and recreational values. White Horse Australia Lindeman Pty Ltd has proposed that it should be allowed to privatise 37 hectares of the national park for a private tourism development.


Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to

  • reject revocation of any part of Lindeman Island National Park
  • that Lindeman Island National Park is properly managed so as to protect its exceptional values.
