TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the Commonwealth proposal to site the National Nuclear Waste Facility at "Bennett's Gully", Omanama, Queensland.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to:
1) uphold the Queensland Nuclear Facilities Prohibition Act 2007
2) advise the Commonwealth of this decision
3) request the Commonwealth to withdraw the Queensland site from the list of nominates sites.
