Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House to the urgent road works needed to make Elizabeth Street, Urangan safe for traffic to negotiate.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to oversee that urgent works are done to :

• fill in open dangerous ditches, alongside of the road, that harbour mosquitos after heavy rain fall;
• widen the road to allow parking, passing and legal turning , bus stop;
• change the entrance to Emerald Park Way from Elizabeth Street to accommodate the legal flow of traffic, stopping illegal u-turns.
