Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the importance of honouring previously unrecognised fallen heroes who were killed in action during WW1 through a new commemorative precinct and honour board at Yeppoon.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to work collaboratively with local government and the Queensland Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs so that grant funding can be secured to deliver this memorial as part of the centenary of ANZAC celebrations.
