TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that the coastal zone along Innes Park is currently a marine national no-fishing zone.  This means that the traditional area for families to enjoy recreational fishing off Barolin Rocks is not available.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to change the boundary of the current marine no-fishing zone.  If the boundary was moved east by no more than 200 metres, families would once again be able to enjoy line fishing off the rocks.
