Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the fact that in the recent State Budget there was no money allocated for completion of the Sumners Road interchange project which includes a duplication of the bridge over the Centenary Highway.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to call upon the LNP Government to honour their pre-election commitment and allocate funding to complete this project that will alleviate a major bottleneck on local roads in the Centenary suburbs.
