The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the restrictions placed upon Dr Paul Joice by Queensland Health in relation to his work at Proserpine Hospital.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to take appropriate action against Queensland Health to fully restore Dr Joice's credentials so that he can resume his work at Proserpine Hospital and that Queensland Health make a formal public apology to Dr Joice, his family, staff, patients, their families and the community for any stress, hurt or embarrassment caused by Queensland Health's decision to withdraw his credentials.
