TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that we the undersigned ask the Minister to address the issue of a lack of Go Card buy or top up facilities at Victoria Point, adjacent to the transit centre and request urgent attention regarding this matter.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to allow the Victoria Point Shopping Centre Newsagency to provide Go Card buy and top up facilities and the capacity to register or cancel Go Cards, apply for refunds and change expiry dates, as the current facilities are not open during extended trading hours making these services unavailable to commuters who travel outside standard trading hours.
