TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House the need for legislation to protect the health of Queensland tenants and residents in unit complexes.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to note that the undersigned want to see legislation under both the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Act and the Body Corporate Act to protect non-smoking tenants and residents in unit complexes from environmental tobacco smoke entering their units from adjoining units.
