Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the Caloundra South developer Stockland's plans to close Old Caloundra Road that intersects with Bellvista Boulevard due to its proximity to the roundabout on Caloundra Road.  Such closure will force 170 households who would normally turn right onto Caloundra Road to turn left into Bellvista Boulevard, travel 300 metres and do a u-turn to gain access to Caloundra Road.  Bellvista Boulevard is already a heavily congested stretch, and is the main access point to the Caloundra South development site.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to investigate the situation and deliver a suitable alternative for residents of Old Caloundra Road.
