Responded By: Hon Anna Bligh MP on 25/11/2011

TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House a failure by the Bligh Labor Government to produce a Queensland Infrastructure Plan, or to detail any plans for flood-proofing and upgrading the Bruce Highway, even though the Labor Party has been in office for 20 of the last 22 years.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to (a) censure the Deputy Premier for failing to deliver an infrastructure plan; (b) insist the Government delivers a 20-year infrastructure plan as a matter of priority; and (c) ensure the Government has a detailed plan to fix the Bruce Highway.
