TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The Petition of electors of the Division of Surfers Paradise draws to the attention of the House their concern that the TAFE Ridgeway Campus (which is zoned Community Purposes and is now surplus to TAFE requirements) might be sold and would no longer be for public use.


Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to gift to the City of the Gold Coast the TAFE Ridgeway Campus for green space in the same manner that Kangaroo Point TAFE Campus was gifted to the City of Brisbane.
