Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that the permits and charges put on the Cooloola recreational area released by the Queensland Labor Government restricts the rights of ordinary Queenslanders to access the environment.

We believe that the Government's proposal will result in local Queenslanders losing their jobs and fewer families being able to enjoy recreational activities.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to ensure that there are no permits or charges on ordinary Queenslanders access to the environment by not imposing a vehicle access permit in the Cooloola recreation area.
