TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Electors of the Division of Gympie draws to the attention of the House the Gympie Cemetery Trust has notified 18 families in writing that due to a review of workplace health and safety guidelines that the granite base under their loved ones headstone will need to be set into the cemetery concrete base.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to prevent Gympie Cemetery Trust from altering existing bases under headstones at the Gympie Cemetery.
