Queensland Citizens draws to the attention of the House: of Queensland, that they oppose the construction of a high density, three story housing project on the corner of Harpa and Oliva Streets, Palm Cove. The project is inconsistent with the tourist amenity of the beach side village.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to halt the current housing proposal for Palm Cove and relocate the project to an area of demonstrated need, which also has appropriate infrastructure for the target population.
