Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that children should not deliberately be denied their natural mother and father and that where the desires of adults conflict with the rights of the child, the rights of the child should always come first.Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to amend the Surrogacy Bill 2009 so that Members of Parliament can be given a separate conscience vote on the issue of deliberately denying a child a mother and father.
