TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the failure of the government to negotiate meaningfully with Queensland teachers on the matter of their enterprise bargaining agreement. Your petitioners therefore request the House to call on the Premier to intervene directly to influence the government's EB position to ensure that Queensland teachers are paid commensurate with teachers in other states.
