TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
We, the undersigned, value the basic right of all people to act in accordance with their good conscience. We believe this right has been violated by recent Victorian Parliaments Legislation which compels Doctors or Nurses to be directly or indirectly involved in performing an abortion, even if this is against their deepest religious, ethical or moral convictions. We demand no such legislation ever be passed by the Queensland Parliament.
