TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the current noise restriction of 110db for licensed premises with on-premises cabaret licences. This restriction allows too much noise from licensed premises and is affecting the health and well being of Queenslanders. Your petitioners therefore request the House to reduce the legal sound level to protect residents.
