The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the increasing difficulties experienced by Sailability Bayside volunteers of conducting a sailing experience for people who are disabled and the need to reduce the activity because of loss of access to the Coast Guard pontoon at Manly Boat Harbour. Your petitioners therefore request the house to expedite negotiations with the lease holder and the Port of Brisbane Corporation so that facilities at the site can be upgraded to accommodate the increasing demand for the services provided by Sailability Bayside.
