The petition of the residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House to, • The Toowoomba Health Services DOWNGRADING of the Senior Breast Care Nurse (SBCN) position. • Recognise the evidence that supports the need for the Toowoomba SBCN position which SERVICES SW QUEENSLAND (AND ROMA) to be retained, • Recognise Toowoomba as a major diagnostic clinic supporting the physical and emotional needs of women affected by breast cancer.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to ensure, • Toowoomba Health Service honours the in principal agreement to fund the full time Senior Breast Care Nurse position and undertake consultation with stakeholders who support/treat women with breast cancer.
