TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
A petition of citizens of the state of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the opposition of petitioners the change in hours of the operation of Caltex Boyne River due to noise issues. Our petitioners therefore request the House: direct the minister of Environment to: ensure the Caltex remains a 24 hour operation; reassess the findings of night time noise issues at Boyne River Caltex; assess the objectivity of criteria used regarding the above-mentioned location; determine the detrimental effects on travellers and the community.
