TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the Department of Housing plans to build high-density housing commission units in Carina Heights. This type of development is inappropriate in a low-density residential area.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to call on the current Labor Government to cancel these plans immediately and ensure that Carina Heights is maintained as a family suburb with the current mix of residential density.
