The Petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the reduction in services provided at the Maryborough Base Hospital.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to restore and maintain 24 hour emergency care, intensive care and the birthing unit and to employ adequate doctors and professional staff to ensure the ongoing provision of these and all other existing services to the Maryborough community.
