The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the unnamed dam currently under construction on the Burnett River located approx 33 klm outside of Biggenden. This dam is being constructed over the old gold mining town of Paradise.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to consider naming the dam as either Paradise Dam or Lake Paradise.
