This Petition of the residents of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the loss of driver testing services in regional areas such as Dimbulah. Claims that extra testing places will be available in centralised locations is causing great disruption and difficulty. People are now being forced to find transport to those locations. They may also have to then find vehicles such as trucks or buses in which to be tested.

Your petitioners therefore request the house to ensure driver testing services are restored to Queenslanders in places such as Dimbulah to ensure residents are readily able to be tested and to acquire their driving licences as readily as possible.
