The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the Premier’s commitment on 5 August 2005 to ensure the people of Queensland that regardless of the outcome of the decision of the court challenge to the Morris inquiry that the inquiry would be allowed to finish its important work.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to immediately reconstitute the Bundaberg Hospital Commission of Inquiry as a matter of urgency allowing evidence to be heard and a report to be delivered to Parliament and the people of Queensland.
