TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of concerned residents of the Gold Coast suburbs of Mudgeeraba, Tallai, Gilston and Advancetown, draws to the attention of the House our concerns regarding the poor condition of Worongary Road. More specifically, the level of maintenance required, the number of potholes (both patched and existing), the rough edges and the damage that reoccurs in the same areas following storms.
The undersigned petitioners therefore request the Members of the Legislative Assembly to ensure the residents that this road will be upgraded as a matter of priority and diligently maintained for the safety of all who use it.
