The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that we the undersigned hereby petition the House to keep under freehold title for the Community, Lot 2, Registered Plan 219164, Ward Numinbah, Volume 7137, Folio 75 (6.97 hectares) within the 380 hectare Springbrook property known as The Settlement and on which the oval is located.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to offer Lot 2, Registered Plan 219164 to the Gold Coast City Council to hold in trust to manage and maintain for active and passive recreational purposes for the people of Queensland.
