The Petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House to the RSPCA's administering powers under the Animal Care and Protection Act 2001. The RSPCA is not a unit of public administration and are therefore not able to be investigated for abuse of power and other criminal acts that occur while RSPCA are administering an Act of Parliament.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to remove all RSPCA powers under the Animal Care and Protection Act 2001
