The Petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the urgent need for the Queensland Redistribution Commission to reconsider a proposal to remove the Hervey Bay Hospital from the Hervey Bay state electoral district.
The Queensland Redistribution Commission's draft Hervey Bay state electoral district proposal excludes the Hervey Bay Hospital by placing it within the Maryborough State Electorate.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to act decisively in objecting to the removal of the Hervey Bay Hospital from the Hervey Bay State electorate district.
