The petition of citizens of Queensland that are residents of Ripley, Paradise Heights and Flinders view, draws the attention of the House to the extension of the South West Transport Corridor (S.W.T.C) from Springfield to Ripley Rd and propose that an extension from Ripley Rd to Cunningham Highway be constructed at the same time and not at a later date. And … The study suggests Ripley Rd be 80 km/h, which is unacceptable to our community.

We believe 60 km/h through our communities is the maximum acceptable limit. And … Ripley Rd and Fischer Rd are intended to remain as urban corridors and not to be linked to industrial areas.
