The Petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House their desire that all government employees must supply an employee number or a form of identification as a reference number when dealing with members of the public.
An employee number or identification reference number will assist identify government employees in any complaint or review.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to ensure that all government employees in their dealings with the public supply an identification number or form of identification to enable the public to identify the employee in any future review or complaint.
