E-Petition

The Petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that vehicles are being driven on roads when the driver has no driver licence. It is a common occurrence seeing scooters, electric bikes and motorbikes go through red lights these days. Unlicensed people riding these devices do not need to understand the road rules and are often unlicensed. Paying road users are under risk from these unlicensed drivers. 

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to pass new laws to require any person driving or riding any kind of vehicle on Queensland roads must have a valid driver licence.
