The Petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House we need to change our National Anthem. We are Australian is the most relevant anthem. 'We are one, but we are many, and from all the lands on earth we come, we'll share a dream and sing with one voice, I am, you are, we are Australian'.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to persuade the federal government to change our national anthem.
