TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House the previous government advised the people that COVID deaths data was released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Because of the way the ABS does things the data was released up to 10 weeks after the fact and contained month-old-data.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to release COVID death data weekly with the normal COVID case and hospital admission data. We the people have a right to know what is going on in our state.
