The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the need for a designated junior school playground at Pimpama State Secondary College. Currently there are limited play facilities for the younger students, which restricts their opportunities for physical activity, social interaction and overall development. A dedicated playground for the junior school will provide a safe and engaging environment where the younger students can play, learn and grow.

Additionally, there is a need for the installation of refrigerated water bubblers through the school. Access to cold drinking water is essential, particularly to support the active play of school students. Hydration is crucial for their health, well-being and concentration through the school day.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all in its power to support these essential improvements to ensure the junior students have the necessary facilities to thrive both academically and physically.
