Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the crucial need for safety improvements to be made to the intersection of Ramsay Street and King Street in Cloncurry.

This intersection is dangerous, with frequent near misses and potential for severe accidents. Parked vehicles obstruct vision, posing hazards for both drivers and pedestrians. The intersection is also particularly unsafe for cyclists and pedestrians.

The implementation of a roundabout would be an effective way to improve traffic flow, slow down vehicles, and increase driver awareness of other road users and conditions.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all within its power to immediately prioritise critical upgrades to the Ramsay Street and King Street intersection.
