The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the potential loss of adequate professional fishing vessel access to the existing site of operations of the Gold Coast Fishermen’s Co-operative on the Southport Spit.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to take whatever action is required to ensure the Gold Coast Fishermen’s Co-operative retains its current site and current access to waterfront on the Southport Spit.
