The Petition of residents of the state of Queensland draws the attention of the House to the unacceptable noise levels experienced by residents in Elanora adjacent to 19th Ave Palm Beach. The petitioners request the House commit to a decibel reading in Almond Court, Elanora and for the current sound barriers on the Western side of the Pacific Hwy, behind the houses in Darnell St and Almond Crt to be extended in height and repositioned closer to the road as per the 5.2 Klms of sound barriers which commence at Tugun and finishes north of KP McGrath entrance onto the Pacific Hwy.
