TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland Residents draws to the attention of the House: the unacceptable state of the Bundaberg Base Hospital. Bundaberg State Hospital has some of the highest ramping times in the state; there are countless stories of improper or negligent treatment; the Hospital is regarded as being under-staffed and under-funded.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to immediately ensure proper resources are available to Bundaberg Base Hospital; commence an investigation into poor performance of the hospital; and ensure the accountability of the hospital CEO and board members for proven past poor performance.
