TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The Petition of certain residents in the Johnstone Shire draws to the attention of the House that the Main Roads give urgent consideration to the condition of the approaches to the Goondi Railway Crossing at Innisfail.
Your Petitioners therefore request the House to ask the Honourable Minister for Transport and Main Roads Mr Paul Lucas to take the necessary steps to rectify this problem as the Main Roads have failed to address Council concerns resulting in continual failure each side of the rail crossing.
