The petition of the Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the state of the intersection at the entrance to Pinklands Sporting Reserve on Cleveland - Redland Bay Road.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to improve this intersection and to consider all available sources of funding to ensure this occurs; including: 1. Dedicated right turn lane for northbound traffic entering Pinklands, 2. Traffic island installation to divert northbound passing traffic to the left of stationary traffic waiting to turn right, 3. Lengthened southbound merge lane to allow southbound traffic exiting Pinklands to avoid queued traffic waiting to turn right.
