TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The Petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House their concerns at the closure of the Brisbane Street Ipswich TAB Agency in terms of: (a) whether the TAB is a business or a service; (b) the need for a TAB Agency at the location.
Your Petitioners therefore request the House to at least maintaining the establishment of an agency in the area which is open on Saturdays between certain hours, say 11.30 am to 5.30 pm.
