TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the proposal to build a quarantine facility at the privately owned Wellcamp Airport. It is not reasonable to move a broken system into a regional area with limited health resources and no ability to assure locals that a biosecurity breach will not occur.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to not move the quarantine system to the privately owned Wellcamp Airport near Toowoomba.
