The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws the attention of the house to the inadequate supply of clean water to the residents of the Atherton Tablelands and in particular the residents of Ravenshoe and the Millstream Estates area.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to implement the scaled down version of the “Tully Millstream Scheme” to supply an adequate water supply funded by clean, hydropower generation utilizing the considerable investment already undertaken in this scheme.
