TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the Sunshine Coast Council advise that traffic congestion on Nicklin Way is a matter for State Parliament to rectify. As things stand, peak hour on Nicklin Way is a shambles. Thousands of cars snaking from one red light to another making travel extremely slow and inefficient. Most vehicles have one person in them.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to during peak hours, 7am until 9 am and 4 pm until 6 pm, vehicles must be multi-person vehicles.
