TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House that, since I was six years old, I have looked to the night's sky and seen not a delightful fireworks display but a devastating pollutant wasting precious resources. Not only this, but fireworks also have a high safety risk and expense.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to consider environmentally friendly fireworks or alternatives to fireworks, such as laser lights.
