The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that, due to excessive train noise and increased freight train movement, there is a need for an extension of the railway sound barrier on Melton Road, adjoining the Tiddlywinks/Jill's Jive Dance School.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to look favourably at extending the sound barrier on Melton Road, Nundah due to excessive train noise and increased freight train movement.
