TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House to the need to provide a Public Radiation Therapy Centre at Nambour Hospital as hundreds of Sunshine Coast and surrounding area cancer patients have to make trips to Brisbane for radiation therapy.
Your petitioners therefore request the State Government to fund such a facility.
